Unmodified cast nylon 6 grade exhibiting characteristics which come very close to those of Ertalon® 66 SA. It combines high strength, stiffness and hardness with good creep and wear resistance, heat ageing properties and machinability.
Additionally, Ertalon® 6 PLA stock shapes are also available in our Food Grade programme, which means that they can be supplied with a declaration of compliance, confirming they comply with the requirements mentioned in the European Regulations (EC) No 1935/2004 and (EU) 10/2011. The composition of the raw materials used for the manufacture of Ertalon® 6 PLA stock shapes also comply with the regulations of the United States of America [FDA] for plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs.
