Ketron® PEEK CA30


This 30 % carbon fibre reinforced grade combines even higher stiffness, mechanical strength and creep resistance than Ketron® GF30 PEEK with an optimum wear resistance. Moreover, compared with unreinforced PEEK, the carbon fibres considerably reduce thermal expansion and provide 3.5 times higher thermal conductivity – dissipating heat from the bearing surface faster, improving bearing life and pressure-velocity capabilities.

- High maximum service air temperature (250 ° C continuous and 310 ° C for short periods)

- High mechanical strength, stiffness and creep resistance, even at high temperatures

- Excellent resistance to chemicals (acids and alkalis) and hydrolysis

- Excellent wear and frictional behavior

- Consistent and improved dimensional stability

- Excellent resistance to high energy radiation (gamma rays and X-rays)

- Good PTFE replacement when mechanical load capacity is greater or when superior wear resistance is required
