TIVAR® 1000 is an engineering PE-UHMW, with an approximate molecular weight of 5 million g/mol. In the range of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, TIVAR® 1000 offers a better balance of its properties. It combines excellent wear and abrasion resistance with exceptional impact resistance, even at temperatures below -200° C.
